The Mission

Invictus Templar exists to put real protection within reach of ordinary Americans.

We build modular body armor, plate carriers, and load-bearing gear for people who take seriously the duty to defend their families and their communities — and we price it so readiness isn't a luxury item.

We believe the right to protect life and liberty is endowed by our Creator, not granted by government, and that a free people ought to be equipped to exercise it.

Our Story

I spent over a decade in the Marine Corps. Combat veteran, multiple deployments, with time in artillery, targeting intelligence, and security operations — specifically antiterrorism and force protection.

That last piece is the one that matters here. Force protection is the job of working out what a threat actually is, and what it takes to keep people alive against it. You don't do that work for years and then look at a plate carrier the way a normal customer does.

My wife is a Navy veteran. We spent years in workplaces that tolerated our faith right up until it became inconvenient. When we found out we were expecting our first child, that faith stopped being something we kept quiet about. It became the thing we wanted to build a life around.

In 2024 we moved to Tennessee, and a storage accident destroyed our household goods — including every piece of survival and tactical gear I owned.

Replacing it is what exposed the problem. The industry was coasting: the same cookie-cutter plates and carriers rebranded a dozen times over, thin on innovation, priced like everyone buying them had money to burn.

A Marine who had spent years assessing threats for a living, standing in front of a market that had stopped trying.

So I built it myself.

Invictus Templar came out of that — a tactical brand rooted in Christian values, making modular gear that holds up in the real world at a price a working family can actually pay. We're early, and we know it. We'd rather build slowly and listen to the people who carry our gear than chase whatever the industry decides to market this year.

Thank you for being part of it.

God bless America.

What We Stand For

Faith

Our rights are endowed by the Creator — inalienable, and not the government's to grant or revoke. A people who intend to stay free have to be both disciplined and equipped.

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.John Adams
The one who has no sword must sell his cloak and buy one.Luke 22:36

Service

Service is voluntary, and it costs something. It looks like military service. It looks like showing up for your neighbors. It looks like standing between the vulnerable and whoever means them harm.

A Republic, if you can keep it.Benjamin Franklin
You were called to freedom… through love serve one another.Galatians 5:13

Duty

Freedom handed to you is still yours to defend. That means staying alert to every infringement on it, and making sure the people around you are prepared to do the same.

The essence of government is power; and power, lodged as it must be in human hands, will ever be liable to abuse.James Madison
Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.Psalm 82:3–4

What Sets Us Apart

Modular by design

Our carriers, belts, and plate systems share a common attachment standard. Change your loadout without rebuying it.

NIJ Compliant protection

Level III, III+, and IV plates, tested to NIJ standards. We publish what each plate stops — and what it doesn't.

Backed for life

Every plate carries a lifetime warranty and our Shot Replacement Guarantee. Take a round, and we replace the plate. No charge.

Priced for the people who need it

This company exists because replacing a destroyed loadout cost far more than it should have. We haven't forgotten that.

Our Name

Invictus

Latin for unconquered. It comes from Henley's 1875 poem — "I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul." It's the posture we build for.
