Interlocking silicon carbide ceramic tiles -- rather than one solid slab -- bonded to a UHMWPE composite backing, localizing damage at the point of impact. Shaped with a single-curve profile for a closer fit against the ribs.

Single-hit rated at this size against .30 Cal M2 armor-piercing @ 2,887 fps from 42 feet -- the same NIJ 0101.06 Level IV threat tested on the full-size Sanctum plate. The silicon carbide strike face fractures and disrupts the round on impact.

Returns
Due to the life saving nature of this gear, PE-based body armor sales are final and are ineligible for return.
