Plate size is determined by your torso's width and height, not your overall body weight -- an oversized plate restricts movement, an undersized plate leaves vital areas exposed.

What makes AR700 steel different from standard steel plates?
Dominus uses proprietary ultra-hardened AR700 steel with a 750 BHN hardness rating -- harder than standard AR500/AR600 steel -- paired with a full spall mitigation coating for enhanced fragmentation protection and long-term durability.
Can Dominus be shipped to my state?
Body armor cannot be shipped outside the United States, or to New York or Connecticut. Some felony convictions may also prohibit the purchase, ownership, or use of body armor -- please confirm your local and federal eligibility before ordering.
How many plates do I need, and what size should I choose?
Dominus plates are sold individually -- most customers select two (front and back coverage). Available in 8" x 10" (Small) and 10" x 12" (Standard), both in a SAPI cut. See the Sizing & Fit tab above for full measurements.
What happens if I'm shot while wearing Dominus?
If you are shot while wearing Dominus, we will replace it free of charge. A valid police report is required to process the replacement.
