  • At 3.18lbs per plate, a set of Aegis plates is roughly the same or less than comparable AR500 or AR600 steel. Fragmentation Protection

  • The laminated construction of PE plates disperses ballistic energy efficiently upon impact. The Aegis is designed to reduce projectile fragmentation and help minimize the risk of secondary injuries caused by bullet debris.

  • This stand-alone body armor is built for multiple-hit capability following rigorous testing to ensure protection that exceeds NIJ 0101.06.
