Mosaic Ceramic & UHMWPE Hybrid
A silicon carbide mosaic ceramic strike face bonded to a UHMWPE composite core -- the ceramic disrupts and fragments incoming rounds while the polyethylene backing absorbs residual energy, at nearly half the weight of steel. Shaped with a single-curve profile for a closer fit against the ribs.

Single-hit rated at this size to defeat M193 @ 3,245 fps, M855 @ 3,100 fps, and 7.62x39mm -- the same threats tested on the full-size Aegis SRT plate. Also rated for handgun rounds and stab resistance.

Fragmentation Protection
- The laminated construction of PE plates disperses ballistic energy efficiently upon impact. The Aegis side plate is designed to reduce projectile fragmentation and help minimize the risk of secondary injuries caused by bullet debris.

Returns
Due to the life saving nature of this gear, PE-based body armor sales are final and are ineligible for return.
